William H Rutledge

William “Bill” Rutledge Jr., age 94, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2020 in St. Clair Shores. Bill was a graduate of Detroit Catholic Central High School in 1943 and an alumnus of the University of Detroit. Bill was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He was an educator in the Detroit area for many years. Beloved son of the late William Sr. and Virginia Marie (nee Toner) Rutledge and the dear brother of the late Suzanne Rutledge and the late Jules David Rutledge. A memorial funeral mass will be scheduled at a later date at St. Lucy Church, 23401 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores. Interment was held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit. Arrangements were entrusted to Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home in St. Clair Shores.
