Wanda Sczekan, 91, passed away July 2, 2018 at her residence. Wanda was born May 17, 1927 in Olsztyn, Poland, the daughter of the late Mitchel and Katherine Sliwinski. She was married to Raymond Sczekan and he preceded her in death.
Wanda is survived by five children, Ray Sczekan, Kathy Smith, Julie Lambert, Michael Sczekan and David Sczekan; four grandchildren, Michelle Sczekan, Heather Hoffman, Amanda Sczekan and James Sczekan.
Wanda was known for her love of family, friends, cooking and hosting. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses Wanda looked forward to the fulfillment of God’s promise at Isaiah 35:5,6 to soon take place on earth.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, located at 29615 Greater Mack Avenue, Saint Clair Shores, MI 48082
