Salvatore "Sam" Cucinella

CUCINELLA, Salvatore “Sam” age 85, October 30, 2017. Beloved husband of Ann. Dear father of David (Shelley) Cucinella. Loving grandfather of Nicholas and Natalie. Dearest brother of Pete and Rose Zappa and brother-in-law of Goldie Cucinella. Preceded in death by parents Antonino and Agata, siblings Angelo (Rose) Bommarito, Jim (Pauline) Bommarito, John (Daisy) Bommarito, Gaspare (Jane) Cucinella, Anthony Cucinella and Joseph Cucinella. Sam worked 34 years as a Wayne County Deputy Sheriff and 11 years for the State of Michigan. He was an usher for St. Paul on the Hill and also a photographer. Sam is loved and missed by many nieces, nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. Visitation at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 25800 Harper Ave. (3 blocks North of 10 Mile on the East Side of Street) Thursday, November 2nd, 8:30am until time of Service 12:30pm. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
