Randolph Robert Blunden

Randolph “Randy” Blunden, age 77, formerly of Cocoa Florida passed away November 14, 2021 at home in Richmond, Michigan.
Randy was born in Menominee, Michigan in 1944 to the late Robert and Bernice Blunden. He served in the United States Air Force honorably for many years as an Aircraft Ground Support Mechanic.

Married to the love of his life, Maureen for 58 years. Loving father to Tanya Nierescher, Melanie (Dennis) Yore, Tamara (Robert) Trapiss, and Jaime (Shea) Conley. Proud grandfather to Justin and Emily Nierescher, Dalton, Dylan, Ethan, and Evan Yore, Dominic (Kally), Dario (Kelsie), Dante, Dozzio, Dino, Derriano, and DeAngelo Trapiss, Aracely and Cassius Conley. Great grandfather to Dominic Jr., Viviana and Daxxton Trapiss. Loving brother to Susan Beres, Barbara Regan, and Tim Blunden.

After retirement Randy and Maureen moved to sunny Florida where they spent many years enjoying visiting family, friends, and each other.  Not one to sit idle, Randy loved spending time in his workshop tinkering on cars, tractors, cracking jokes and living his best life. He adored his grandchildren, spending time with them was very important to him.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Sharmayne LaLauni, and his grandson Matthew Ryan Yore.

Committal service with U.S. Air Force Military Honors will be held at a future date at the Great Lakes National Cemetery, in Holly Michigan.
