Mary Geraldine Saber

Saber, Mary Geraldine (nee Fitzel) age 96, October 2, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Leo L. Loving aunt of Mark (Hemalata) Gnaster, Geralyn Ayers, Michael Gnaster, Mary (Dennis) Szawala, Karen Bottancino and Karl Gnaster. Mary was a Third Order of St. Francis Member in Detroit. Mary worked 12 years at Chrysler as a sewing machine operator prior to going to Stouffers Restaurant at Eastland Mall for 23 years. She was a member of Waiters and Waitress union. Former member of the Daughter of Isabella and the Red Hatters Society. Her hobbies were cooking, Fishing, Sewing, Baking.

Visitation at the St. Clair Shores Chapel of Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 25800 Harper Avenue (3 blocks north of 10 Mile) Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 2:00pm to 9:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm. Funeral Saturday, October 8, 2022, Instate at 10:30am until time of Mass 11:00am at St. Joseph Church, 7842 Newberry St., Alger, MI 48610 with Burial following at Alger Cemetery.
