Mary Militello

Mary M. Militello passed away in her home on May 16, 2020 at age 91 and now enjoys eternal life with our Lord.

Mary loved to cook for her family and dine out at her favorite restaurants. Her fabulous Christmas dinners were one of the many ways she showed her love for her family. They were blessed to have such a selfless mother / grandma. Going to the casino and playing poker always made her happy, win or lose. She was known for being a lovely lady with high standards for herself.

Loving wife of the late Santo Militello of 65 years. Dearest mother of Pat (Linda), Nancy (Jerry) Vermeulen, and Ann (Michael) Dybowski. Dearest grandmother of Santo Militello, Cara (Ayman) Elfakir, Gina (Mike) Kaczmarczyk, Alisa (Jerry) Orlowski,Kendra Militello, Rebecca and Brianna Dybowski. Great grandmother to Sami, Sophia and Addison. Dear sister of Catherine (Ted) Atos, the late Angelo and Sam Gulisano.

Loving godmother of Domnick Sorise, Sandy Militello and Cindy Kalel, and dearest aunt to many nieces and nephews. She is survived by sisters-in-law Mary Cefali, Katie Alampi and Josie Thomas who she always thought of as "sisters".

Due to current restrictions, a private Mass will be held at this time. The family asks you to remember their mother in your prayers. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the St. Clair Shores Chapel of Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 25800 Harper Avenue (3blks North of 10 Mile Rd).
