John Alfred Young Jr

He was born January 20, 1928 the son of the late John Alfred Sr. and Evelyn Young. John married Ingeborg Lorenz on September 5, 1953 and she preceded him in death.

John is survived by his daughters, Karen (husband Bob) Delargey, Sharon (husband Don) Miller,
Sue Powell (Tom) and Sandy (husband Dan) Creagh; sister, Mildred Cullimore; brothers, Richard (wife Margaret) Young, Russell (wife Joanne) Young, Robert (wife Pat) Young and Eldon Young; grandchildren, Melissa Michels, Brad Michels, Austin Delargey, Cody Delargey, Colin Creagh, Trevor Creagh, Tyler Creagh, Shelby Powell, Jenny (husband Michael) Grosvenor and Shauna (husband Daryl) Lemke; great-grandchildren, Makayla Johnson, Neiko Snorton, Fallon Snorton and Cailynn McGorman.

John was predeceased by his brother Edward.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, St. Clair Shores, with burial to follow in Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2018 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Alzheimer's Association.
