Beloved husband of Joan (Tiza) Linden for nearly 68 years.
Loving father of Joseph, Mary (Ronald) Garofalo, Michael (Sharon) and
Anne (Richard A.) Krus. Grandfather of Kristy, Richard J., Keith, Alyse, Erica,
Lauren, Michael, Andrea, Alexandria and Craig. Great Grandfather of 10, Soon to be 11.

Helmut spent his childhood on Lake Erie In Monroe, he graduated from Monroe High School.
He served in the United States Marine Corp, Paris Island. He Married Joan Tiza, September 29, 1951. Helmut retired as an engineer from General Motors. He was a longtime Parishioner of Immaculate Conception Parish Ira, Michigan.

Proud past Commander of Anchor Bay Power Squadron, 1984 and achieved the rank of Navigator with
full certificate. Enjoyed teaching Safe Boating Classes. He was also, a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Helmut enjoyed camping with his children and grandchildren. Boating, Hunting and fishing, golf and traveling with Joan, were also his favorite past times. Helmut passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Bickford of Shelby. Visitation at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 25800 Harper Avenue, St. Clair Shores.

Visitation Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 9PM With Scripture Service at 7PM.
Funeral, Friday September 27, 2019. InState 11:30AM at St. Joan of Arc Church, 21620 Greater Mack Ave, St. Clair Shores until time of Mass at 12 Noon.
