George James Tilli

George James Tilli passed away on May 19, 2022 at the age of 64. Cherished son of George M. Tilli and Margaret Katharine Tilli (nee Turner). Beloved husband of Jacqueline (nee Sproviero). Adored father of George (Sarah), Caitlin (David), and Brandon. Loving Grampa of Hanna Liza and Sara Luna. Treasured brother of Matthew (the late Patricia) Tilli, Marcia (George) Super, and Kayleen (Dennis) Daugherty. 

George touched the hearts of everyone he met and was loved by so many. In 1989, George married the love of his life, Jacqueline in the upstairs conference room turned wedding chapel of Pepper’s Night Club. They went on to have a wonderful family together, raising their three children, in which he was so proud of, and living life to the fullest with golfing and skiing at Shanty Creek, boating on “Shooter’s Broke” and unlimited family time at his brother/sister-in-law’s house boating and barbequing. Although George may have had a growly demeanor at times, his ‘Tilli Factor’ and heart of gold always had a way of bringing everyone together. In his spare time, he adored checking in daily on the phone with his family and friends about past memories, facetime calls with his beautiful granddaughters, his excitement on his upcoming hunting or fishing trips he will go on with his kids, or learning about all the new places his close ones have gone.
George has been the proud president of Odyssey Tool, his tool and die company founded in 2001, where he was considered and loved as the ‘All knowing’ of his craft around the world. He truly loved his dogs Bella Boo, Panda and Spruce and couldn’t go to bed without playing ball every night before fighting the dogs for the covers in bed. George was known for his unique relationships with each one of his friends, family and most importantly his children who will continue to cherish those wonderful memories forever.
George will be missed greatly by all of his family and friends. 

A visitation will be held at Bagnasco and Calcaterra Funeral Home at 25800 Harper Ave St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081 from 2:00-8:00 pm. A scripture service and sharing of memories will be taking place at 7:00pm.
