Mr. Hildebrand was a fixture in my family's life throughout my childhood. He & my Dad, John, were fishing buddies and spent a lot of time on the lake together doing something they both loved. He & my Dad spent a lot of time at our kitchen table talking about fishing, WWII & enjoying a few beers along with the stories. He was a kindhearted and gentle man who I will always remember with great fondness.

Remembering Uncle Ed, and how he played the organ so well, and sang in Polish when we would visit he and Aunt Lu's home. He sent a Christmas card to us each and every year, and would give us an update on his fishing trips. Each year, I'd say "We should go to see Uncle Ed soon"! Well, life got in the way, and we missed seeing him. Rest in peace, Uncle Ed. Give our best to the family.

Well Uncle Ed, I just want to thank you for all the beautiful memories of when I was a little kid, and for your strength that was emblazoned with pure love. I will miss you... XOXOXO

I’m blessed and thankful to have many many wonderful memories of Uncle Ed! He was like a second dad to me after our father Grant passed away at age of 42.
He served his country and his community but most importantly his love and devotion to Aunt Lou! Always a great man with a huge heart and a killer smile 😊!
Now he can play the organ for Aunt Lou as she does a little polka dance! Love you bunches ❤️😘 Dawn Duncan-Great Niece
