Earl Douglas Tomlison, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by loved ones on August 3, 2022, age 95.
Beloved husband of June Tomlison (nee Farley) for 71 wonderful years. Loving father of Janice Weiner, Pamela (Steve) Scully, Nancy (Gary) Woodard, Annette (Pierre) Sutter, Daniel Earl (Monica) Tomlison, Mary Kovar, and Linda (Jim) Bricker. Dear grandfather of Brian Weiner, Brandon Weiner, Alexzandra Scully, Christina Scully, Renee (Chris) Hintz, Jeremy Woodard, Olivier (Fanny) Sutter, Elise Sutter, Scott (Paige) Tomlison, Kate Tomlison, Jason Knezevich , Anna Kovar, Rebecca Montgomery, and Connor Montgomery. Great-grandfather of Isaac Hintz, Anika Hintz, Emil Sutter, Alois Sutter, Oliver Tomlinson, and Bently Knezevich. Brother of Juanita Krakowski and the late Beverly Szubelak, and Athleyne Kerschke. Dear friend and neighbor of Timothy Navara and family, and Heather Klute and family.

Earl retired from Chrysler Corporation after working for 43 years. He was an avid reader and spent his spare time working on cars and using his woodworking skills to create duck decoys for his hunting. Earl was physically active, skiing, cycling, and tennis.


Visitation will be held at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 25800 Harper Avenue, St. Clair Shores, MI 48081 on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm with a Prayer Service following at 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
