Doris Marie Scarsella Rollinger was a caring, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She passed peacefully into heaven on January 22, 2021 at the age of 93. As was her wish, she was at home with her family. She was born to Russell and Winifred Winkler on April 15, 1927. She was a lifelong resident of Roseville, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Anthony (Tony) Scarsella on October 19, 1947 and raised their 9 children. She was predeceased by Tony in April of 1987. In June of 1994, Doris married Michael Rollinger, Jr. She was predeceased by Michael in January of 1998. Doris loved caring for her large family and enjoyed cooking and baking. There was always room at her table for one more. Later in life, she was an active member of Sacred Heart parish, Daughters of Isabella, the Optimist Club, Roseville Police Wives Association, and the Friends of the Roseville Library. She was a devote Catholic and always found comfort and peace in her faith. Doris is survived by her children, Frank (Maria), Cindy (Greg) Boedeker, John (Mary), Rick (Susan), Carol, Susan (Dale) Francek, Jim (Flavia), Jackie (Chris) Bianchi, Jenny (Mike) Rollinger and stepchildren, Sharon (Al) Gladcyk, Kathy (Rich) Hadfield, Linda (Jurgen) Goethert. Predeceased by Lori (John) Reuther. Thirty-three grandchildren and forty great grandchildren will miss her sweet smiles and hugs. She is also survived by her sister, Florence Schopp, brother-in-law, Robert (Joann) Scarsella, and sister-in-law, Joan Katulski and several nieces and nephew. Predeceased by sister, Beth (Bob) Henk. There will be a private family burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Roseville. A funeral mass will be held at a later date.
