Irene C. Novak, age 96, a long time resident of St. Clair Shores, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2021 in Fort Gratiot. She was born on April 8, 1924 in Detroit, the daughter of Edward and Juliana Wempe. She was employed as a secretary for many years. Beloved wife of the late Raymond, Dear mother of Mary Anne Novak and Geralyn Novak Menard. Loving grandmother of Dennis Menard, Melissa (Josh) Creech, Mary (Lewis) Barnes and Katherine (Frank) Bethuy. She was blessed with 10 great grandchildren and a sister Rose Pecar. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 19th from 4-8pm with a rosary at 7pm at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 25800 Harper Avenue (Three blocks north of 10 Mile Road), St. Clair Shores. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 20th 10:30 at St. Isaac Jogues Church in St. Clair Shores. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
