Ann Eliza Dockeray

Ann Eliza Dockeray passed away peacefully in her home after an extended battle with kidney failure and dementia on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at age 76. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert, her children Michael, and Kathleen, in addition to her two grandchildren, Cassandra and Graham.

Ann was adopted as an infant by her loving parents Giles and Kathleen Murphy. As a child, she suffered from and overcame polio. She met her husband in Bridgeport, CT, they were married in December 1969 and moved to Michigan shortly after. She could best be described as a social butterfly who could make friends with anyone. She took up many hobbies over the years including bowling, knitting, and painting which she was extremely gifted at. Her greatest attribute was her willingness to listen anytime you needed her to. To those closest to her, she was their biggest cheerleader and supporter. She touched the lives of many and will forever be known for her sense of humor, her sassiness, and her stubbornness. Ann will surely be missed by those she leaves behind.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 11am until time of Funeral Service at 3pm at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home 13650 E. Fifteen Mile, Sterling Heights, MI.
