Eric Whateley

Whateley, Eric M., age 69, February 8, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Janet. Loving father of Michelle (Joe Evangelista) Whateley. Proud grandfather of Shannon. Dear brother of Ron and Rita (Bob) Smale. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Eric proudly served in the U.S. Army where he earned a Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Sharpshooter (M-14, M-16 and M-60) and Combat Infantryman Badge. A Memorial Gathering will take place on Sunday, March 4th at 2pm until the time of a Memorial Services at 3pm at Amvets Post 57, 19730 Harper Avenue, Harper Woods. Inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
