Andrew was a very kind person. He would always call and check in. He was a man of few words, but has a very memorable presence. He would call to check in, say what he was watching, and asked about how others were doing. He was such a thoughtful man, and will be missed dearly. My thoughts go to Andrews family during this difficult time.

You always had a smile for us and a positive attitude. You were so interested in our Dad's cars. I don't know how you remembered all of the years, makes and models!

I had the pleasure of working with Andrew for the last 4 years. He always brought a smile to my face. He will be very missed by a lot of people. Many people at my office knew him because he was a chronic caller. He frequently called the office and my cell, but was a man of a few words. The conversations were brief but frequent. He liked to check in and make sure things were ok, confirm that no one was mad at him, and that the people he knew were still working at the office. He simply liked to call and check in and say hi. He might tell you he was watching The Walton's, Bonanza, Gun Smoke or Reba on TV. He might have mentioned that he just got back from Friendly's (diner), Fairway's (drug store), or The Whistle Shop (hobby shop), some of the places he liked to frequent. He always ended the conversation by saying, “Ok, talk to you later! Bye!” You never doubted that that would be the case because it was inevitable that he would call and you’d in fact talk to him again later.
One of my favorite memories of Andrew is the day he called me and asked me (Andrea) if he could call me Andy for short. I agreed and asked him if I could call him Andy too. He said yes. We were both Andy to one another.
To Andrew's family, he touched more lives than you know. He was always one of my favorites and was known by many to be a sweet and gentle soul. I would have never given up on him. He knew as long as I was working at my office, he was going to be stuck with me. His spirit will live on through numerous lives that he touched and the lives he was able to help save by being an organ donor. RIP Andrew, I’ll miss you so much.
