The funeral staff at Sterling Heights Location far exceeded my "expectations" for my Mother's passing. Extraordinary service from all of the staff. From the start of the process to the very end of the process. Very highly recommended them.

When our father passed away in Houston on New Year's Eve, we were lost. Having had family funerals with Bagnasco since 1943, we knew exactly who to call. We came into town on Monday. Not only did Brian help with all the arrangements, he made my 86 mother feel at peace. From choosing a casket to arranging the Military Honors, my father had the most beautiful sending we've ever seen. Thanks to Rebecca and the staff on the day of for making everything as smooth as could be. God Bless the entire Bagnasco/Calcaterra team, and once again, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!

The staff of Bagnasco Calcaterra Sterling Heights were so kind and thorough with my mom's funeral arrangements. I was especially impressed with how beautiful my mom looked. Everything was handled so well especially considering having the services done the week of Christmas. Our family was very pleased with the level of care put into her visitation. Joe and the staff at Bagnasco went above and beyond in helping with every aspect of our mom's funeral at this difficult time. They were warm and sincere and thought of and attended to every detail. Dyan was patient and kind in dealing with multiple changes to the holy card and scheduling the burial for us at Great Lakes cemetery. Joe's sincere words at the end of Mass were touching and appreciated. From beginning to end we couldn't have asked for a more positive experience. We lost both our parents in seven weeks time. It’s been the hardest life experience I’ve been through. Matthew made everything simple for us. He has the sweetest demeanor and it honestly felt like family was guiding us through everything. He is definitely doing a job he loves to do . He knew how much my dad loved boating and made sure his photo for the front door video had boats and boats that were sailing. It was such a thoughtful gesture he made for us and our dad. I can’t say enough nice things about him. He is definitely someone who will continually strive for the deceased family to be happy with B&C services from begging to end. My father passed away in April and we worked with Matthew. During this awful time, he made things very easy on us. Our family wants to thank Bagnasco & Calcaterra employees for all their help during this difficult time. We appreciate everything they've done for us. Matthew treated us like family and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.

My father passed away about a month ago and Matthew made the process of making arrangements stress free. He accommodated us every step of the way and offered their services to fill individual urns even after we picked up his ashes from the funeral home. My mother is grateful to him for suggesting the steps to take and who to contact regarding any benefits he may have had through his previous employer. He was definitely one step ahead of us during arrangements. Working with him made a difficult time a time where we could just grieve and not worry about the arrangements. My parents passed away less than four months apart. Bagnasco & Calcaterra were absolutely wonderful and so helpful. They led my Father and I as we walked through the death of my Mother with the utmost compassion and professionalism. Matthew Manzella made a very difficult time, especially during COVID-19 circumstances, stress free and tolerable. He made sure we understood all things associated with my mother's arrangements. He went out of his way to make sure my entire family was addressed, regarding their wishes and needs. He went above and beyond in every aspect taking care of us. Paul knew exactly what my mom wanted and delivered a speach that spoke from my mom's heart and I could not be more grateful! Also, my Mother looked so beautiful!!!! Rick was absolutely wonderful, he walked us through each step, to make Mary's funeral a bittersweet day. I was shocked at how beautiful she looked, the flowers, the cards, everything was perfect. Rick made us feel comfortable on a very upsetting day. Thanks so much, for being there for Mary's family and friends. You were truly a blessing.

As I look back 65 years ago when I was 15, I remember Aunt Shirl coming over to where I was sitting, watching people dance at a San Marino party. She asked me if I would like to dance a polka with her. I said "Aunt Shirl I don't know how to dance the polka." She said,"don't worry ,I'll teach you." She did,and we danced to the best of my limited ability, a couple of songs together.
I will remember Aunt Shirl as a kind and gentle woman,who took the time to spend a few minutes making a young boy feel special.

I cant imagine if I took my mother somewhere else. They really made my mother look like her old self before cancer left her skin and bones. It helped so much for me to see her looking so good, I think it made it easier for all of us. I can't speak highly enough about the staff and how wonderful they were. Thank you for making the most terrible time in my life a little easier
